Description
"Javelin" is a game for one or two players simulating javelin throwing.
The game is started by DEF+A. If you start it with RUN the victory table of the older executions will be erased.
Afther entering the number of players ("Anzahl der Spieler:" -> 1 or 2), then number of rounds ("Anzahl der Durchg." -> 1-10) and the name of the players ("Name des 1. Spielers" -> max. 8 characters) the game is started.
The name of the next player is shown and the round starts with pressing a key.
In the lower left corner an animated bar is shown to symbolize the thrwoing strenght. By pressing a key you set the strength. Pressing too late the throw is illegal and the text "Uebergetreten!" is shown.
After the keypress the flying javelin and the width is shown.
The best 20 throws are recorded in a table.
After finishing all rounds the average width of all throws for each player is shown. The player with the best average width wins the game.
Now a new game can be startet or the game can be ended ("Weiter ?" -> "J" will start a new game).
All screenshots were taken from the PC-1360 version of the game. The PC-1350 doesn't have a 18x2 charset so the display is different on the PC-1350.
Requirements
At least 8 KB RAM
For the animation and keyboard input a assembler program is used. So you have to use the correct version of the program for the PC-1350 or PC-1360.
