qualification page 1
These pictures are taken before and during the qualification on 10/30/2001. These mainly are portraits or close ups taken on vault. The light was great in comparison to many other competitions but still too dark to set my camcorder to a suitable speed for action photos (e.g. have a look at Alexandra Balz's waving hand on floor). Beside this it was my first day at worlds with my camcorder. I was sitting so close to the vault's runway that I couldn't resist doing all those closeups. I hope you like the picture as much as I do.
